The First Wishes: Responding to Your Suggestions from Fantasy Forest

Fantasy Forest was a whirlwind—books signed, merch admired, and so many of you took time to drop a suggestion into the box. I read every one. And now, I want to share what’s already happening... and what might still be on the horizon.

"Have pins, chibi heads, Aether Crest bits, wristbands, smaller keychains"

Absolutely. I’m already working with an artist to create brand new chibi art for Book 2’s Light Novel release. These designs will become pins, keychains, and other “tiny chaos” items you can take home.

"Character bios so people can pick their favourite"

Already in the toolbox. I use reference sheets when working with artists, and I’m adapting them into bios for the website and maybe even printed flip cards or a poster for the next event.

"Plushie dolls of the main characters"

You must be psychic. A plush version of Irum is currently in production. She’s cute. Possibly too cute. The kind of cute that could destroy your wallet and your will to say no.

"More pink-haired characters!"

We do have one—Yukina. She's been more of a background presence, but who knows? The world of Aether Crest is anything but predictable. No promises, but you might not have seen the last of her.

"Audio book (also add rulebook and character sheets)"

I’ve had some voice actors record sample lines for an audiobook, but full production is a big leap—and not cheap. I’m looking into crowdfunding options to make it happen properly, with a professional narrator and quality production. No promises yet, but it’s something I’d love to do if there's enough interest and support.

As for the RPG, the first alpha build is complete and currently under review. Digital character sheets and a starter ruleset are in the pipeline, and a full TTRPG release is on the horizon if things go well, then perhaps crowdfunding.

What This All Means

Your feedback wasn’t just kind—it was useful. These are real things already in motion, not just ideas written on paper. You’re helping shape Aether Crest into something bigger than a single book.

And it really made me very happy you stopped by and took the time to write something, even the smallest thing.

Thanks for being part of it.
